The Tidyman lives on

The Tidyman was conceived in 1972 for the Keep Britain Tidy Campaign, then based in London.

The brief was to create a mono campaign logo suitable for use in any colour and without need for supporting text or a separate call to action.

It was specifically artworked as a pictogram for manufacturers to freely adopt and easily incorporate into packaging across their international markets without need for language change.

In the UK the Tidyman was printed in green on campaign material, or yellow out of solid green, accompanied by the 'Keep Britain Tidy' strapline.

The Tidyman is a design that's still relevant and still works...35 years on!
